Easter tidings

OK.  You KNEW she could not make it through the Easter season without pulling out those blasted ears. She stuffed her pockets with Honey Beefers and took us out.  She started with some plain old photos and we all stayed in place.

And then, without so much as a WORD, she whipped out the ears and plopped them on our heads before we could finish chewing the Honey Beefers.  We were pretty much stunned.  She tossed a stick in the air to get our attention, snapped a few shots and then said "FREE."  And it was at that point that Einstein said he had had enough of the ears, once and for all.  He grabbed them and made off with them.

And if either the FG or I tried to grab them - oooooo-eeee he growled at us.  They were HIS ears and he was not letting anyone ELSE destroy them.  He would stand and allow my human to take a photo - but even she had a devil of a time getting them away from him - he wouldn’t let go.

He was DONE with his role as a rabbit.  Which was fine with me.

My human and her sister had the butter lamb-dog and other Easter food blessed yesterday - and the priest didn't refuse the lamb, so it couldn't have been that bad. Mind you, I hear he did chuckle.  My human and her sister will be eating the food for breakfast today - after they go to church.  And then I certainly hope we will be having SOME type of egg hunt.  Or at very least a treat hunt.  That's the least we should get for wearing the ears.  Again.

Have a Happy Easter - and don't eat too much chocolate.  And if you are a dog - don't eat any!

Have a good one.  peace and paws up!
