Happy New Year!!
January 1, 2017. A brand new year. Full of possibilities and potential. I went back to my resolutions for last year, and it's looking like I should probably repeat them for this year. But WHO am I kidding? I mean I said I wouldn't pounce on Frodo or lick his hair and ears. Didn't happen. And I probably never WILL stop providing my in-home styling.
I said I would stop taking off in the woods. Well - that was a BIT better. I mean I still took off. But I always came back. So I guess that wasn't REALLY a TOTAL failure. I can put it back on the list - but I'm not too optimistic that I can totally resist bunny scent...
I'm thinking I should probably put smoking and alcohol consumption on the list. Not that I do either - but I resolve not to take those habits up this year.
Being more playful with the FG would be a good resolution. Especially now that those super sharp teeth are gone...
I do resolve to insist that my human take me out for more walks. She is still sporting the Halloween candy around her waist. From 2015. So I DO need to get her walking. I will pretend numerous times throughout the day that I need to go out. And I'll be sure to do SOMETHING when she takes me out - like a quick pee - so she won't figure out my plan.
2016 was a tough year for so many. But it's done. It's OVER. 2017 marks a fresh new start. No matter what your resolutions for this year - be happy. Take a minute each day to be thankful for ONE thing in your life. And if you are owned by a dog - you already have one thing. Or three in our case.
Happy New Year!!
