Limerick Day

May 12.  Today is Limerick Day.  OK.  So I like to write to stories.  But this poetry thing.  Hmmmm.   I’m not so sure.  Well bear with me!  Here we go.

I call this one “Viktor”

There once was a clever dog

Who had his very own blog

He wrote every day

He had lots to say

He lived in a place where he sees lots of fog.

OK, let’s try again….

“Viktor the Puppy”

There once was a PON pup named Viktor

Who found a human and picked her

He wagged his tail

His charm did not fail

To seal the deal, he licked her.

Getting better….

“Appetite” or I suppose it could be called “Barking”

There once was a Polish breed

You cannot forget to feed

PONs will bark to remind you

To eat and to go poo

And will tell you JUST what they need.

I like THIS one.   “Bunnies”

There once was a day that was sunny

And a PON went chasing a bunny

He had quite the chase

And the bunny did race

But his human did not find it funny.

 And the LAST one.  My human likes this one.  “PONs”

You’ll know right from the start

That PONs are very smart

They’ll charm you

Never harm you

And steal a piece of you heart.

Done.  Phew.  PLEASE don’t tell me there will ever be a sonnet day…..
